Allan Mekisic is one of the most experienced specialist surgeons in the Illawarra with over 20 years of experience.

Allan obtained his MBBS qualifications in Sydney in 1987 and his surgical fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1997.  He has worked as a Specialist Surgeon since 1998 in the Illawarra.  He operates at the Wollongong Private Hospital, Shellharbour District Hospital and Wollongong Public Hospital.

Allan works as part of a Multidisciplinary team in breast cancer comprising of medical oncologists, radiation oncologist, pathologist, radiologists and allied health workers, who collaborate and communicate together to ensure the best possible outcome in individual patient care.
